No shots were fired during an attempted robbery at a fast food restaurant in Weatherford.  A single gunman pointed his firearm at the manager and at least one other employee during the attempt.

The would be robber, thought to be a white male about six-feet-tall, left the McDonalds Restaurant Friday morning after the manager told him she couldn’t open the safe.

According to the Clinton Daily News, the suspect entered the restaurant during a time when no customers were inside about 6:20 am, though several employees were already busy at work.

A Weatherford police detective says the robber has described as being tall with a skinny build and it’s thought he may have facial hair. He was wearing a black hoodie upon entering the restaurant located in the 100 block of Washington Avenue.

Employees believe he headed north from the restaurant in either a white or silverish four-door pickup.
