Medical Condition Causes One Vehicle Accident in Custer Co.

A Corn woman was hospitalized after being involved in a one vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon near Weatherford.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 84-year-old Agatha Jean Ediger was driving her 2010 Chevrolet Impala on State Highway 54, 1.5 miles south of Weatherford in Custer County, when she departed the roadway to the right, struck a culvert before coming to a rest at a fence line.

Ediger was transported to Weatherford Regional Hospital where she was admitted in stable condition for observation.

OHP lists the cause of the accident as being a medical condition, and the condition of the driver as being dizzy and ill.

No other vehicles were involved in the mishap.
