A popular coffee business may be coming to Elk City.
During his city manager’s report at the latest Elk City Commissioner’s meeting, City Manager Tom Ivester reported that dirt work has begun on a three unit business complex on East 7th Street that could house Starbucks.
It was announced in January that the area will also see a Burger King fast food restaurant be built in the near future.
Ivester also said that other businesses have shown interest in Elk City.
It was reported last month that the city is in active talks in possibly annexing a total of 80 acres out in the shopping district for possible business development.
