Several Oklahoma law enforcement agencies have become the victims of a crime after their websites were hacked.

The Custer County Sheriff’s Department appears to be one of them.

A website hacker had eyes on four state county sheriff office websites on Tuesday night. Along with Custer County, the Payne, Lincoln, and Seminole county sheriff department websites were all victims of the hack.

Website visitors were greeted with images of a person on a hill holding a flag and a translated Turkish phrase.

The apparent hacker left his Instagram, Facebook and a link to a video with a man speaking in a different language.

As of press time, it appears the Custer County Sheriff’s Department website has been restored to normal operation.
