Clinton, OK – A Clinton man has been charged in Custer County District Court with felony stalking after police say he repeatedly attempted to contact a woman despite being formally warned to stop.

According to court documents filed October 27, 2025, Malcolm Terrell Harvey, 47, of Clinton, is accused of making numerous phone and online video calls to the victim over several days in early October. Harvey was charged under 21 O.S. §1173(A), which makes stalking a felony when the conduct continues after an official warning.

Investigators allege that Harvey made nine calls on October 2, one call on October 3, two calls on October 6, and two calls on October 7, all after a stalking warning letter had been served to him on September 6, 2025. The alleged harassment reportedly caused the victim to feel “terrorized, frightened, intimidated, threatened, harassed or molested,” the filing states.

An affidavit says that after receiving complaints, police reviewed screenshots from the victim’s phone showing repeated Google Meet call attempts from a Gmail account bearing Harvey’s name and photo. A subsequent search warrant to Google confirmed the account’s ownership and showed multiple outgoing calls to the victim’s email and phone between October 2 and 7.

In a recorded statement to police, the victim said she had not spoken to Harvey since August and sought counseling due to distress from the ongoing contact. She also told investigators she feared for her safety and planned to remain out of state until her court appearance.

If convicted, Harvey faces up to three years in prison, a fine of up to $5,000, or both.
