A Yukon man was hospitalized Wednesday night after wrecking the semi truck he was driving in Beckham County.

According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 9:20 p.m. on Interstate 40 on the westbound lane of exit 26.

Troopers said 56-year-old Bradley A. Burton attempted to take the exit when for an unknown reason the 2020 International Semi he was driving departed the road to the right and overturned one time.

Burton was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in fair condition with trunk internal and trunk external injuries.

Troopers said Burton was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and listed the cause of the collision as being “failure to maintain a single lane of traffic”.
