A Blair man died after being involved in a crash in Jackson County Saturday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 43-year-old Judd Frith was driving east bound on County Road 155 around 7:30 p.m when his vehicle left the road to the right, striking a bridge causing the vehicle to go into an embankment.

Frith was transported to Jackson County Memorial in Altus where he was pronounced deceased.

The condition of the driver and cause of collision are still under investigation. A seatbelt was not in use.

In a separate one vehicle accident Saturday night, a Granite man was hospitalized after hitting a utility pole.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Jamie Estraca was driving a 1998 Chevy 1500 westbound on OK-9 at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at the intersection of OK-34. Troopers said the pickup departed the road and collided with the pole.

Estraca was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.

The report said that the condition of the driver and the cause of the collision are also under investigation.

Troopers also said that Estraca was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
