
Mountain View, OK – A Carnegie man was injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Kiowa County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 3:55 p.m. on State Highway 115 at Highway 9, about one mile east of Mountain View. Troopers said a commercial vehicle driven by 47-year-old Cecil Hooper of Mountain View was turning into a private drive when his trailer was struck by another vehicle.
The second vehicle, driven by 76-year-old Jerry Boyiddle of Carnegie, hit the trailer. Boyiddle was injured in the crash. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time. Hooper was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
