Clinton City Council Meets – Discusses Acme Park Drainage Repairs

The Clinton City Council met in regular session Tuesday night.

During the meeting the council discussed the ongoing process of taking bids for drainage improvements and repairs due to flooding at the Acme Park Facility. Acting City Manager Gene McCullough says the council chose to table both items to allow for more bids for the projects to be submitted.

McCullough says the building suffered flood damage during a storm in 2019, but has not experienced damages since.

The city council also approved annual agreements with with financial consultant RS Meacham for $28,500 and Action Associates for $20,000.
