Based on recommendations from local fire chiefs in the county, Custer County Commissioners have decided to reinstate a burn burn.
The decision came during their weekly meeting Tuesday morning.
District 1 Commissioner Wade Anders said even though the area has had a little bit of precipitation, dry conditions are still prominent in western Oklahoma.
Anders did say there is a welding and cutting exception.
Commissioners will revisit the matter on a week to week basis.
