A Crescent man was hospitalized after being involved in a two vehicle accident in Ellis County Tuesday night.
According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 7:30 p.m. on US-283, two miles north of Shattuck when the 2014 Chevrolet driven by 56-year-old Kenny D. Furr struck a trailer that was being pulled by a 2022 Dodge Ram 3500.
Both vehicles were able to stop after the collision without rolling or striking anything else.
OHP said Furr was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in stable condition with leg injuries.
Troopers said Furr was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
