Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning says staff in his office have gone through more training.
This time the training focused on obtaining valuable information off of phones.
He said last week the training was provided by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at the Elk City campus of Western Technology Center.
Manning offers advice on cell phone safety with kids saying parents should always know their child’s pass code to their phone, and also know their login information to their social media accounts.
