With the next legislative session scheduled to start next month, Oklahoma lawmakers have been putting the final touches on bills they plan to introduce.

District 57 Representative Anthony Moore (R-Clinton), who is chair of the Higher Education and Career Tech committee, says he plans to introduce a bill that will expand Oklahoma’s Promise to kids of full time educators who have taught for ten or more years in the state.

Moore says if the bill passes, it could provide multiple benefits to not only Oklahoma families, but also the state’s school system.

The 2nd Session of the 59th Legislature is scheduled to begin on February 5.
