The Beckham County Sheriff’s Department and county jail now has an updated surveillance system.
Sheriff Derek Manning says due to the original camera system’s age – it was time to upgrade.
Manning said approved cameras came as part of the courthouse security project, and was funded through the county’s general budget which was unanimously approved by the county commissioners.
