Reports are limited but a collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a pedestrian has died after being involved in a single vehicle accident in Washita County.
OHP says the accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on a county road south of Burns Flat and involved a 2015 Sierra GMC.
Troopers said as a result 44-year-old Jeffery A. George of Kingston, Oklahoma was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Oklahoma Medical Examiners office.
The driver of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.
Troopers said the cause of the accident and condition of both the pedestrian and the driver remain under investigation.
