A local golf course saw vandalism over the weekend.

According to the Clinton Riverside Golf Course Facebook page, sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning an individual in what appears to be a UTV type vehicle did donuts on the 12th hole green – tearing up grass and sod in the process.

City officials are asking that if anybody has any information regarding the case to contact the golf course or the Clinton Police Department.

Golf course personal have already started to re-sand the affected areas with hope that the green can be repaired in a short amount of time.
