Class 4A District 4 Baseball Standings Jammed with Three-Way Tie for First

There’s a giant logjam atop the standings in Class 4A District 4 on the baseball diamond. Elk City, Weatherford, and Clinton are all tied for first place with a record of 6-0, while Kingfisher has a chance to join them with a win over Woodward. The bottom three teams are still looking for their first district win. Next week, the top four teams will start playing each other, and things will begin to shake out.

  • Weatherford whitewashed Western Heights twice, 20-0 and 15-0
  • Kingfisher outlasted Woodward 10-6
  • AB blanked Carnegie 13-0
  • Hollis hammered BFDC 17-2
  • Hammon doubled up Cheyenne 6-3
  • Cordell outslugged Hobart 17-16
  • Leedey smoked FGFS 13-2
  • Mangum smacked Sayre 12-4
  • Navajo topped Snyder 6-2

Slow Pitch Softball Results:

  • Canute beat AB 16-15 with a two-run walk-off double by Jade Gray
  • Shattuck won a slugfest against Arnett, 34-20
  • Sentinel won twice, 9-1 over Duke and 3-2 against Blair
  • Blair beat Duke 4-3 in extra innings
  • L-S won twice, dismissing Hobart 14-13 and knocking off Hobart 7-2
  • Hobart beat Boone-Apache 18-8
  • Merritt doubled up Hinton 16-8
  • Leedey flogged Mooreland 17-5
  • H-E clipped MVG 12-7
  • Vici blanked Seiling 6-0
