Now that the Elk City Arrowhead Center has been open for use to the public, how has the response been?
City Manager Tom Ivester said based on the sales of membership to the athletic event center, response has been positive. He said to date, roughly 600 memberships have been sold and said portions of the made revenue go back into the building.
Ivester also provided an update to the ongoing renovation process of the public pool in Ackley Park. He said progress is steady and he’s hoping the pool will be done and ready for use by the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
He added that cost to enter the pool will be comparable to the cost to enter the old pool.
