The Oklahoma Sooners are back in the championship series for the 4th consecutive season, aiming for their 3rd straight national title. In a gripping game that went into extra innings, the Sooners emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over Stanford.

Stanford took an early 2-0 lead with a powerful 2-run homer by Kylie Chung in the first inning. However, the Sooners fought back, scoring a run in the second and another in the third to tie the game at 2. Both teams remained scoreless until the 9th inning when Tiare Jennings, celebrating her birthday, delivered a clutch hit, driving in two runs to give the Sooners the lead.

The Oklahoma pitching staff held strong, with Jordy Bahl closing out the bottom of the 9th inning and securing the win for the Sooners. This victory marks their 51st consecutive win and sets the stage for an exciting championship series.
