A man who led multiple authorities on a pursuit through Wheeler County, Texas and Beckham County was arrested last week near Sayre.
Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning said the pursuit began in Texas and had deputies with the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety along with deputies from the Beckham County Sheriff’s Department involved in the chase.
Manning said during the chase, the suspect had a red flashing light in the interior of his car, and was stating during his arrest that he was law enforcement.
The name of the suspect was not released. Charges are pending.
