A single vehicle rollover accident near Weatherford Sunday afternoon has put one person in the hospital.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 3:45 p.m. on OK-54, 5 miles south of Weatherford when while driving northbound the 2007 Ford F-150 driven by 25-year-old Carlos Gardea of Chihuahua, Mexico departed the road to the right due to what Troopers say was inattentiveness.

OHP said the pickup then rolled an unknown amount of times, ejecting the driver.

Gardea was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in good condition with a hand injury.

A passenger in the vehicle was treated for minor injuries at Weatherford Regional Hospital and later released.
