Thanksgiving House Fire Destroys Butler Home

A Butler home was destroyed early Thanksgiving day due to fire.

Thankfully, the homeowners were not at the residence at the time of the blaze.

However the family did lose two dogs, and a cat.

According to fire officials the fire broke out at approximately 3 a.m. at the home located in the 200 block of S. Main. Fire departments from Butler, Clinton, Arapaho, Hammon and Leedey were all dispatched to the home to fight the fire, which last for a little over four hours.

Fire officials say that do not know what caused the fire.
